Anyone with the ability to learn from mistakes can easily conclude that if you refuse to follow instructions, you are going to face a lot of consequences. Whether at work, school, or even at home, not being able to follow directions well can provide you with a lot of disadvantages.

In some cases, following directions can show respect for a fellow citizen. For example, if you see a "do not disturb" sign posted on the doorknob of a hotel room door, do you knock or ring the bell to disturb the people inside? I don't think so. Because it's rude.

It's just plain and simple etiquette. Even if you're online. This simply means that even if the Internet gives you as much freedom as you would please when it comes to instant access to information that you need, you still need to respect the person who flashes a "do not disturb" sign on their instant messenger platforms.

One of the things I hate in some people include the fact that they cannot understand the meaning of the BUSY ICON in Yahoo! Messenger or status messages that say something in the likes of "Do not disturb" or "Busy" or "Do not disturb, I MEAN IT!"

However, they're still persistent. So they end up bothering you. The end result? You'll be entitled to hate them for a while if you have a temper like mine and refuse to talk to them.

Boo.

Oo, nakakaistorbo kasi kaya matuto kayong sumunod sa direksyon o instruksyon, okay???
dkdfkjdsjkdjkdfjkldfjdfs. For crying out loud, hindi ko kayo ginugulo kung may busy icon man kayo. Konting sensitivity naman, please.

There are simply a lot of things that should be forgotten. Most of them come from the past.

This is where selective amnesia probably becomes a very important factor in a person's life. In order to be able to function properly and keep on living, they need to forget all the bad things that they have done in the past. It maybe called "in denial" but sometimes, it's better off that way and hope that the people you've once wronged will forgive you.

So you try to make it all up to them by changing your ways. However, you'll find yourself forgetting the bad things and one day you'll think, "Why am I so nice to them?"

Once you remember the reason, you'll feel bad and regretful but you could not find the right words to say to them how sorry your are.

There are also times when you find yourself not being able to say sorry to somebody you have wronged no matter how guilty you are. You don't want to repent for your sins even when you recall the days when you have wronged them. All you want to do is just wish that they had never been born and blame them for influencing you to act bad towards them.

In denial once again?

Nobody will ever know because you yourself are denying that you are in denial.

So it's basically a never-ending cycle because you won't be able to forgive yourself eventually and you'll feel as if the chances of people forgiving you are like taking big risks when gambling.

I'm just rambling here again and reflecting. This is what reading old journal entries from this account and my blogger account has done to me.

The effect is worse when I'm reading old diaries from childhood and adolescence. I swear, make me lay down on a Freudian couch for a session, hypnotize me, make me regress, and BOOM. I'm such a big wreck trying to patch up all the busted parts of my system.

Is it time to delete and rewrite?

My boss sent me a text message last night and she told me to work at home instead because it looked as if the rain wouldn't stop pouring. Lo and behold, this morning, when I woke up at 8:30, I saw sunlight seeping through my curtains.

Whoa-kay! :O

Well I guess the educational board also took back the suspension of classes on the elementary school level because my mom has gone off to work. However, last night, I had high hopes that she won't have classes and we can eat breakfast together and then I'll take her to Starbucks (so we can fill in my promo card with stickers. XD)

My topics for today are interesting. Something to do with law.

I still need to plan a get-together for friends this coming Saturday. I wonder if everyone can come. The occasion? Angela's birthday.

My, oh my! I've been reading old blog entries in my blogger account and I wondered "What did I have to say about February 19, 2005?" But there was no entry on that date. Instead, there's an entry on February 21... and this is what it stated:

Last Saturday was the last of my final exams for Mass Media Laws and Ethics. After the exam, I felt like a bird inside a cage and the cage is open... but I don't want to fly off.
Maybe a lot of graduating students feel that way, especially if they're graduating from college. It's those times wherein you just think that life is so short and time flies quickly than you could ever notice it.
On the eve of that same day, I was watching a rock concert with Rikku, Wakka and Zhak instead of cosplaying as Tifa Lockheart from Advent Children.
Whatever.
The concert was more fun, anyway, I suppose... O_o' but I regret the fact that I wasn't able to see Cloud and Vincent!!!!! @o@' *cries*

I never mentioned seeing him for the first time. Haha. I don't know, what was I thinking?!
But anyway, yeah, I guess if I went to the cosplay event, I wouldn't have met such a *great* person... Great? Pffft.
